Woods Corporation has been fortunate to be able to achieve strong performance and stable growth since the onset of the company in 2002, owing to the patronage from our cutomers, backing from our suppliers, and diligence from our staff members. I extend my sincere gratitude for your support.
As the exclusive distributor and provider of Woodward Governor (WG) products and after-market servicing in Japan and Far East Russia, we are committed to provide services to fully meet customer needs and expectations. A deeply-knowledgeable team of engineers and technicians is available around the clock to serve customer needs on mechanical hydraulic governors and electrical/electronic controls. Our expertise can also be found in areas of power management and control systems for power generators, both new and retrofit, where we can achieve improvements in efficiency and meeting environmental standards.
Under the marine controls systems business, we provide a sophisticated vessel control system packaged as Bridge Maneuvering Systems (BMS). In addition, other product offerings include Alarm Monitoring Systems (AMS), joystick remote controls, CPP control systems, Dynamic Position (DP) control systems, and power management systems.
Woods Corporation is the exclusive agent for Schaller Automation oil mist detectors (OMD), which are typically installed in marine diesel/gas engines as means of engine protection. This product has received high praise from our customers as a result of recognition of its superior reliability and low running costs compared with competition.
In August 2008, we opened our Kanto (Eastern Japan) office in WG Japan’s Tomisato plant facility, and assumed the after-market servicing business for gas turbine and gas engine controls from WG Japan. The same experienced staff and extensive facility are available for our customers.
As for quality management, we continue to prudently operate our internal management system verified under ISO9001：2008. Furthermore to quality improvement, we are currently in the process of obtaining ISO14001 verification as token of our continuous efforts in environmental preservation,
